A few years ago, while I was doing business in the Czech Republic, I came to know quite a lot of cultural values and daily habits among the Czechs. Some may be different from people in my own country but there are some which are similar too. For example, Czech people prefer to walk from one place to another unless the destination is far. Unlike my home country, people would rather drive even if it was within 5 minutes of walking distance. I think this is probably the main reason why the air in the Czech Republic was much fresher and cleaner compared to where I came from.

Nonetheless, there are a number of similarities between the two countries. Some of you might find this shocking but I discovered that most Czech citizens are more inclined into using the sms service. Sms otherwise known as short messaging service is widely popular in my home country too as people find it more convenient to convey messages to the recipient. Besides, a simple message only cost a few cents which is definitely cheaper than making calls. However, the best thing about sms-ing in the Czech Republic is that certain companies provide free sms service to their subscribers.

One thing that attracts me most about Real Madrid is the way they keep possession of the ball. To add more to it, you can see the teamwork in the players and this leads to quality football.

Not to forget the club Barcelona who is currently in the lead, they are also a very good club with top-class players. The likes of how Lionel Messi is playing for Barcelona now allows them to boast about winning the La Liga Cup, but it is not just about one player as I believe the whole team contributed to the success Barcelona is having now.

In soccer, there will always be rivalry as each club challenges one another to be the best. With good clubs on the run, soccer will definitely have a place in the world’s favourite.

About two years ago, I was stationed in Czech Republic by my company to help out at their local base in Prague. My job scope involved logistics, time – cost analysis and some customer feedback service. The area where my job took me was very different from where I came from. There were not many cars as locations were usually within safe walking distance.
