That’s What Friends Are For
My friend Samuel’s 22nd birthday is coming up the following week and my friend’s and I haven’t decided on what to get him. As Samuel was very well to do, it would be difficult to get him something as he pretty much owns almost everything. We kept thinking of a suitable gift and finally my friend Tony came up with a brilliant idea. Seeing that Samuel has been an ardent basketball fan for many years now, we thought it be best if we bought him a pair of Nike basketball shoes for his birthday gift.
As he probably owned a variety of those sold in our local stores, we thought it would be better we got him something unique, something imported, something that wasn’t available locally. Thus, we went online to checkup on such retailers and we found one at nike-dunks.net which had a wide collection. Their range of shoes included the nike dunks, nike air force, nike blazer and nike sb. Their products are also quite affordable as prices ranged from approximately $80 to about $130. We browsed through their website and there was just too many types to choose from. We were definitely spoilt for choice! After hours and hours of searching, we finally agreed to get him something from the nike dunk range - the Nike Dunk High Pro which cost us about $100.
The shoes arrived the following week in a very safe and secured box to deter any possible tampering or defects. And as Samuel opened his gift from us, he was smiling with a type of joy we weren’t quite accustomed to from him. And ever since he got that pair of Nike Dunks, he has been constantly wearing it to wherever he goes.
