Most of the transaction will be done in the US dollar, whereby some websites from countries outside the US will be using local currency. For example, a UK website might be using GBP, thus when one do a UK price comparison, it is always advisable to convert to USD or local currency to get the actual value, be it more expensive or cheaper. However, some websites might be daring enough to publish the price comparison in local currency; so, it is easier to shop over those websites.
